Leadership Summit 2018
November 2-4, 2018
The Camp Quest 8th Annual Leadership Summit is a gathering of Camp Quest leaders from across the country to connect, collaborate, and celebrate Camp Quest! All Camp Quest volunteers, supporters, and friends are invited to attend this event, which will be hosted by Camp Quest North, November 2-4 in Bloomington, MN. The primary focus of the summit is on volunteer development sessions, sharing best-practices and camp ideas, and collaborating with fellow Camp Quest leaders to help strengthen our network. Additional events during the summit include the annual meeting of our National Board of Directors, the National Council, and our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. We are honored to welcome Kristin Wintermute, Director of the American Humanist Association Center for Education, as our guest speaker for Saturday’s keynote. Additional activities will include an outing to the Mall of America on Friday night, as well as our very own CQ Trivia Challenge on Saturday evening. We look forward to seeing you in Minnesota!

Kristin Wintermute received her undergraduate degree from the University of Montana in Pre-professional Psychology with a minor in Art Studio and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maine. Her early career was working as a mental health practitioner in a variety of settings including private practice, public schools, non-profit clinics and a major health care company over an 8-year period. In 1998, she made the decision to leave the field of social work to become a stay-at-home Mother. In 1999, NACH and it’s subsidiary, The Humanist Institute (THI) became one organization. Kristin initially was THI’s Business Manager, but then was appointed their Executive Director. She worked for THI for twenty years. At the end of 2017, THI dissolved as an independent organization forming the American Humanist Association Center for Education. Kristin is now its Director.
