CQ Texas Microscope Hey Camp Quest families! We are proud to announce that we are co-sponsoring a Richard Dawkins family event at The Birmingham Temple in Farmington Hills, Michigan on Saturday, October 15th at 10:00 am. Dr. Dawkins will be reading from his new book, The Magic of Reality, answering questions, and signing books. The reading will be followed by science experiments and ice cream!

Freethinking Internships for the Fall!

Two national partners of Camp Quest, the Secular Coalition for America and Foundation Beyond Belief are offering fall internships. Camp Quest is proud to be one of the 10 member organziations of the Secular Coalition for America, and we're honored to have been selected as a beneficiary of Foundation Beyond Belief for the second year in a row. If you're interested in getting more involved in the freethought community, these internships may be just the opporuntities you're looking for.

Foundation Beyond Belief Logo The Foundation Beyond Belief Internship is a 28 week virtual internship requiring about 8 hours per week.

The Secular Coalition for America Internship is a 12 week part-time position in Washington, DC.

What's a Summer Camp Doing in a Secular Lobbying Coalition?

Camp Quest is a member of the Secular Coalition for America, a national lobbying organization for atheist, agnostic, humanist and other secular Americans. The Secular Coalition recently launched a blog featuring voices from their member organizations, including Camp Quest executive director, Amanda Metskas. Hey adults, don't let the kids have all the fun

Did you know that our camp counselors are dedicated volunteers? Adults ages 18-80 come to Camp Quest for a week each summer and serve as cabin counselors, activity leaders, photographers, camp nurses, lifeguards, and support staff.
